Terms & Conditions

  1. All attendees on Wine and Spirit courses must be aged 18 years or over.
  2. Vacancies on a course are allocated strictly in the order that complete and valid applications are received, together with the relevant the course fee.
  3. The published details of each course or event are the basis on which Early Harvest intends to provide the course or event at the time of publication. However, if the required numbers of bookings per course or event are not achieved, the course or event will be withdrawn and the course or event fee refunded. Also, any details shown for a course or event might have to be changed due to unforeseen circumstances, should this occur every effort will be made to inform attendees as soon as possible.
  4. A booking is for a place on a specified course or event.
  5. If you are worried about attending a course due to a medical condition you should consult your General Practitioner. Early Harvest cannot undertake to advise you as to whether or not any medical condition could be adversely affected as a result of attending a course. Upon request Early Harvest will provide your GP with any information about the course or event they require.
  6. All WSET course applications will automatically be booked for a place on the examination date(s) for that course. Any applicant who wishes to postpone their examination will be charged the full retake fee.
  7. Candidates requiring special course or examination conditions because of dyslexia or other medical reasons must submit their request at the time of booking the course. Such requests must be supported by a doctor’s certificate or similar document.
  8. Payment to be made by cheque, made payable to Early Harvest Ltd for the full amount of the course or event and to be accompanied with a completed booking form. Receipts will be issued only upon request and not as a matter of course. Your cheque will be cashed as soon as we are certain of numbers as we have advance costs to meet, not least the wines!
  9. Early Harvest reserves the right to change the published prices of course programmes.
  10. If a confirmed course or event booking is cancelled, for whatever reason, up to 14 days prior to the start of a course or event, the fee remains payable in full. In the event of bad weather, e.g. continuous heavy snow or other dangerous road conditions, classes may be cancelled. Replacement courses or events will be arranged whenever possible.
  11. All prices are VAT inclusive unless confirmed otherwise at the time of booking. Data Protection Act 1998 – At no time will your personal information be passed to organisations for marketing or sales purposes. From time to time Early Harvest may wish to approach attendees to take part in surveys to monitor performance and plan future marketing of courses plus advise of future events.
